ALPINE BANK FEATURED STUDENT William Haas SCIENTIST JHELPER | HEALER William Haas, a senior at Glenwood Springs High School, is an academic performer who casts a wide social net to include dozens of peers and friends He is one of those students whose classes are all preceded by "AP for Advanced Placement. This semester he's taking AP Physics, English Literature Spanish Literature, Caleulus and Biology. When hes not in class, you'll likely find him tutoring fellow students in Chemistry and other rigorous subjects. What makes him most excited to get to school every day? "I anticipate what I could learn that day he says. "And I eagerly look forward to any opportunities in which I can help others" William has lived in Basalt for all of his 17 years. He plans to attend college in the Northeast, then attend medical school His hobbies include tennis, skiing, reading and a very long list of school clubs including STEM, National Honors Society, Spanish National Honors Society and Impact Club.
