Proud to be an Energy Warrior This month, we were thrilled to receive two incredible honors related to the work we're doing here in the valley. The first was a visit from Governor Jared Polis who had been hearing about our Basalt Vista Affordable Housing Community and wanted to see for himself how we're building 27 net-zero homes for teachers and other local workforce families. Second, Habitat RFV received CORE's 2019 Energy Warrior Award in the business category in recognition of how we ildrn are "excelling on local climate protection while helping the community in meaningful ways, not only at Basalt Vista, but also at our ReStore. The CORE team was also impressed by our collaboration with Pitkin County, RF Schools, the Town of Basalt, Holy Cross Energy, and other suppliers and local businesses-that makes it possible to bring Basalt Vista to life. We couldn't be more grateful for our partners, donors, volunteers and staff who make it all possible-thank you all!
