About
Al Nelson opened Nelson's Auto Body in August of 1985 on the corner of Highway 82 and the CMC Road in Glenwood Springs, CO. Al & his wife Kathy moved to the valley in 1975 from Crystal Lake, IL where Al grew up learning the trade and working in his father's body shop, the original Nelson's Auto Body. After moving to the valley, Al worked in a couple different shops before deciding to purchase some land and build a brand new auto body shop. Over the last twenty-five years the body shop has been expanded and upgraded to keep up with the growth of the business.
