ALPINE BANK STUDENT OF THE MONTH Kendall Mueller ACADEMIC ENVIRONMENTALISTATHLETIE Kendall Mueller loves science, the complexity of the human body. continuously learning and helping others. So it seems natural that this Glenwood Springs High School senior would be clear on her chosen path for higher education. She aspires to go to medical school and become a surgeon. But first, Kendall is bound for a liberal arts undergraduate education and has her eyes on Colgate University in New York or Bowdoin College in Maine. "I want to be challenged academically, be able to get outside for adventure, and have time to serve my community, she says. What's most memorable from high school? She's a varsity swimmer and represented the Glenwood Springs Demons at the state finals in the 100-yard breaststroke. She also founded the Valley Valkyries, a new girls high school rugby club. In addition to hersports and academic achievements, Erin hashelped out as a voluntecr at Valley View Hospital and Colorado Animal Rescue. She's also passionate about the environment and helping to slow dimate change in addition to studying the principles of feminism.
